As happens every spring, a dedicated group of Maine IAT volunteers spent a few days on the trail in the Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument clearing winter blowdowns (aka wind-falls or windthrows), checking lean-tos and re-stocking toilet paper in the privies. With the celebration of Kirk St. Peter’s 61st birthday, the average age of the group is now well above 65. This includes Bill’s dog, Trip, who is now nearly 70 in dog years!

(L-R): Dave, Trip, Kirk, Eric, Elaine, Bill and Don the first night at Bowlin Camps, enjoying a campfire before the rain started.
